How to Make an Easter Egg Treasure Hunt
Combine an egg hunt with a trail of short riddles. Choose a safe space and decide whether the children will follow one shared route or separate routes with different colored cards.
Start by handing out the first clue. Each answer points to the next hiding place; the last clue leads to a basket or other small surprise. Keep a guide so the adult knows where every card and egg belongs.
For mixed ages, pair younger and older children and give everyone a chance to read or search. Avoid hiding food where pets or wildlife can reach it, and check any treats for allergies.
Count the items before play and collect them afterwards. A paper certificate is a fun way to celebrate even if the treasure is simply time together.
