Indoor Treasure Hunt Ideas for Kids

Rainy days are perfect for a little indoor adventure. Pick a theme, then choose familiar hiding spots such as a bookshelf, sofa cushion or toy box. Write short clues for younger children and add wordplay for older players. Give the first card to the children, hide each next card at the answer to the previous clue, and leave a small surprise at the end. Check every hiding place before play. Avoid high shelves, appliances, sharp objects and places children cannot safely reach. A grown-up should supervise.
